Sarah Burch

Research Assistant

Sarah Burch is a Master's candidate in Educational Studies, with a concentration in Educational Equity, Justice, and Social Transformation at the University of Michigan. Her research interests include how educational policy is shaped by activism within the Black community; in particular, she is interested in how Black mothers have influenced federal legislation. Before starting graduate school at the School of Education, she worked within the Multi-Ethnic Student Affairs office, the Undergraduate Admissions office, and the LSA Opportunity Hub. She holds a MA degree in History and a BA degree in Political Science, both from Eastern Michigan University.
