Amanda Ketner Weissman

Predoctoral Research Fellow

Amanda (Ketner) Weissman is a doctoral candidate in educational studies and an IES predoctoral fellow at the University of Michigan. Her research interests include the use of quantitative methods to study education for marginalized student populations both domestically and in Latin America. At UM, she works in the Equity in Early Learning Lab under Dr. Christina Weiland studying early childhood interventions. She is also pursuing a M.A. in Statistics at UM. Before coming to Michigan, she received her M.Ed. in international education policy and management from Vanderbilt University where she studied professional development in rural Honduras. Amanda taught high school math for four years in North Carolina and holds a bachelor's in mathematics from Elon University.
